A tasting & a love story
Doris and Jonathan are real foodies. They absolutely adore touring around vineyards, doing a tasting, and discovering cute lovely new places. They asked me to help them find the perfect place for their engagement session, somewhere beautiful, with vines, colored trees, and great wine. And I really committed.
I mean, really.
I went to almost 10 different places, and I quickly realized that finding cute vines in Quebec can be a real challenge in mid-October! But thanks to Marie and the sweet team at Vignoble Domaine Breese, I think we found the perfect spot for them. The colors were amazing that day, and the light; I don't even have words for it.
And a lovely mama cow tried to steal the show. I mean, how cuter that might be??!
Being the vendor with you at every step of the journey and sticking with you two on your day, I always love to get to know you more. The engagement session is a great moment for me to do so. While we were chit-chatting, Doris told me their proposal story. She said Jonathan had everything planned, that it was supposed to be a big gesture in front of a lot of people but... Covid-19. Instead, it was smaller, cozier, better. On his 30th anniversary, he proposed to her, surrounded by a few loved ones by a campfire in their backyard. Her saying ''Yes'' was the only gift he wished for, he said.
Now, that's my kind of proposal.
Simple. Autentic. Emotional.
I couldn't help it; I needed to share their cute story here. And I already can't wait for them to say I do next year!
